Anchor -- A device designed to engage the bottom of a waterway or sea, as part of an anchoring system, in order to maintain position of a vessel or floating construction through its resistance to drag. The size of an anchor is generally referred to by its weight in air.
Ordinary Anchor -- An anchor with a minimum holding ratio of 3.
High Holding Power Anchor (HHP) -- An anchor with a minimum holding ratio of 6.
Super High Holding Power Anchor (SHHP) -- An anchor with a minimum holding ratio of 12.
Holding Ratio -- The ratio of anchor holding power to anchor weight.
